For a project that uses Processing, I was inspired by videos of processed meat factories. I coded patterns to try and bring out the motifs we see in the meat production industry. Then, using actual images I created kitchen utensils using these very same patterns. These meaty patterns act as a reminder of how some of our food is made. One hopes that these will enhance the culinary experience – that the eye will be as pleasured as the taste buds.
